I was born on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia, Italy and started playing with cameras at the age of 6. I consider myself a citizen of the world and my passion for photography has taken me to a variety of places, exotic and non, places such as France, Ireland, Scotland, Jordan, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Egypt, Patagonia, Japan, Peru, Brazil, Micronesia, across the United States and many others...
I like to keep an eye open to all image possibilities, but primarily I focus (pun intended :) ) on landscapes, both natural and man-made (what I like to call the Human Landscapes). I also enjoy capturing the essence of snowsports and rodeos.
My photos, and/or articles, have appeared in periodicals such as Popular Photography, Ski Trax, Cross Country Skiing, 32 Degrees (the official magazine of the Professional Ski Instructors of America and American Association of Snowboard Instructors), Disneyland Paris’ internal publications, Italian computer magazines, and more.
I am a certified member of the American Association of Snowboard Instructors, and also hold a certification in Avalanche Rescue and Snow Study; a Deep Diver, Nitrox, and Rescue Diver SCUBA certifications.
My home is in Jackson Hole, Wyoming near the outskirts of the Grand Teton National Park and only a short drive from Yellowstone National Park. I work with Canon EOS cameras and a vast collection of lenses. I never leave home without my faithful Canon EF 24-105 L
